Digital x-rays are a highly beneficial tool for dentists, as they provide us with detailed images of the interior chambers and canals of our patient’s teeth. These images also allow us to see areas not visible through visual inspection – such as cavities between the teeth, or problem areas below the gum line. In short, digital x-rays give us a much more complete picture of our patient’s oral health and help us to provide them with the best possible care.
There are several added benefits of digital x-rays as well, such as the following:
- For one, they are much easier and faster to take than traditional x-rays — which means that our patients are exposed to less radiation, and we can get their images more quickly.
- Digital x-rays also provide higher resolution images, which allows us to detect even the smallest problem areas in our patients’ teeth.
- Additionally, because these images are digital, they are easy to store and share with other dental professionals if needed.
Overall, digital x-rays offer a number of advantages that make them an essential tool in providing quality dental care.
ViziLite Plus is a product that helps detect oral cancer and pre-cancerous lesions at the earliest stage possible. It works by using a safe, low-intensity light source to illuminate potentially harmful tissue in your mouth. After the patient rinses their mouth with a cleansing solution, the light is able to highlight abnormal tissue growths. This can alert our team of the presence of malignancy before the cancer reaches a more critical stage.
Oral cancer and pre-cancerous lesions can be easily detected in a single examination using ViziLite Plus, which makes it an ideal screening tool. We incorporate these screenings as a part of every routine examination in order to protect our patients against oral cancer.
Under Armour Mouthwear
Underarmour Mouthwear is a type of protective gear that is worn over the teeth and gums in order to provide protection against impact during high-intensity activities. Made from durable, shock-resistant materials, Under Armour Mouthwear offers a custom fit to prevent injuries while ensuring comfort and flexibility.
In addition to providing protection, Under Armour Mouthwear can also improve athletic performance by helping to increase oxygen intake and improve jaw alignment. The appliance is designed to reposition the jaw in order to maximize airflow and relieve joint tension caused by physical exertion. This can help to improve focus while increasing power and endurance.
Whether you are an athlete looking for an edge on the competition, or simply want to protect your teeth during activities where there is a risk of impact, Under Armour Mouthwear is an excellent investment.
CEREC is a CAD/CAM (computer-aided design, computer-aided manufacturing) system that is used in dentistry to quickly and precisely create oral restorations – such as dental crowns and bridges. The system incorporates the use of an intraoral camera to take detailed images of the mouth. The images are then uploaded to a computer, where they are transformed into a 3D model of the patient’s oral structure. Using this model, our team members are able to quickly design a unique, ceramic prosthetic that perfectly fits the patient’s specific needs.
Once the design is complete, the blueprints are sent to our milling machine where the perfect restoration is quickly crafted, carved, and polished. Thanks to CEREC technology, many dental restorations can now be created and placed in just one visit, so patients no longer have to wait weeks or months for their complete restoration.
